Humans in Transition

Earth In Transition is not an institution.
It is a living organism.

It is carried by a core team that holds the frequency, coherence and continuity of regeneration, and by a constellation of creative circles that take shape wherein dreams, energy and needs meet.

Rather than a rigid hierarchy, Earth In Transition grows through commitment, trust and co-creation, allowing each individual and each team to take the lead where they feel most aligned, useful and alive.

Our mode of organization is inspired by holacracy, a non-hierarchical approach to leadership, and social permaculture - and thus, living systems.

A small core team safeguards the intention, the long-term direction and the integrity of Earth In Transition as a whole.

Around it, autonomous operational circles emerge for facilitation, Earth Council, bioregional action, digital infrastructure, communication, logistics, volunteering or specific projects.

Each circle has:

  • a clear purpose,

  • a high degree of self-organization,

  • and a direct linkage to the whole.

Within Earth In Transition, leadership is not based on status or title, but on presence, attunement and competence. Those who feel the call step forward. Those who hold a role remain accountable to the collective.

Our structure is intentionally open and evolving.

As Earth In Transition grows, new circles appear, merge, or complete their cycle.
Some people join for an event, others for years. Some bring long-term vision or artistic design, others care, facilitation or technical skills.

If you feel that your place is not yet named, it may simply be waiting to be co-created.

Earth In Transition is shaped by the progressive unfolding of its DNA : serving the great shift of our times. The organism evolves in accordance with the needs of the times and how we collectively find inspiration to respond to them.
