Practical Information
Event details
Everything you need to know before joining the Convergence.
Food
All meals during the gathering will be organic and vegetarian, prepared to nourish both people and planet.
Shared meals are an important part of the experience: a time to connect, slow down, and gather together.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be arranged based on registration timing.
Participants will stay in comfortable rooms either within the abbey itself or in carefully selected, clean and welcoming guesthouses in nearby villages.
Shuttles will be organised throughout the gathering to transport participants between accommodation and the event site.
For those travelling independently, there will also be space for vans, as well as access to a camping area located around 30 minutes away.
Transportation
Please arrive at the abbey on June 19 between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM for check-in, which will be followed by the shared welcome lunch.
You can reach the abbey by car, or by train via Nevers or Bourges, where shuttles will bring participants to the venue.
Return shuttles will also be organised on the morning of June 22 to take participants back to the train stations after the event.
We encourage carpooling whenever possible, and a shared travel coordination system will be set up ahead of the Convergence to help participants organise transport together.
Detailed travel information will be shared after registration.

Continued involvement in the wider Earth In Transition movement
This gathering is just the beginning of a longer-term connection and action.

0€ — Scholarship Request
